Davey Hough

 

"I have a very strong belief in early intervention services.  Our program is really the grassroots of The Learning Center"

 

 Davey is the Special Education Director for The Learning Center.  His department provides developmental screenings, appropriate therapy and a host of community education programs.  He holds a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Special Education and a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Speech/Language pathology.  He is a native of Wyoming and has been with The Learning Center for over 20 years.

 

 

Barbara Burrough

 

"I enjoy working with parents in the education process for their children.  Early intervention, both for special needs and early educational needs, is very important in helping all children reach their full potential as future citizens in their community."

 

Barbara is the Program Manager for Sublette County.  She oversees the Head Start, preschool and screening programs for the Big Piney and Pinedale centers.  Barbara has a Bachelors Degree in Home Economics Education, an Early Childhood Special Education endorsement for Wyoming Teaching Certificate and graduate work in child development.  She has over 20 years of preschool experience and has worked for The Learning Center for 6 years.

 

 

 

Leticia Liera

 

"I believe that we make a difference in the lives of the children we work with.  We have the potential make their lives richer."

 

Leticia is the Education Director for The Learning Center.  A native of Naucalpan, Mexico, she has degrees in family therapy and psychomotricity (body movement related to sensoperceptions and development).  Formerly, she was a speech and language therapist at the National Institute of Human Communications in Mexico.  Leticia has been with The Learning Center for 3 years.

 

Miriam Morillon

 

"The Learning Center doesn't just help children, we help all people.  We help families, even employees here are encouraged to learn and be better in their careers.  The Learning Center cares."

 

Miriam is the Finance Officer for The Learning Center.  Originally from Mexico City, Mexico, she holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.  She has been with The Learning Center since the beginning of 2003 and is a parent of a Learning Center preschool student.

 

 

 

Charlotte Reynolds Waldrop

 

"I feel that providing children early educational opportunities sets children on a positive path, one that will chart the course for their futures.  I am thrilled to work with a dedicated team of professionals who provide such opportunities and services to all children of our community, regardless of developmental level or family income."

 

Charlotte is the Development Director of The Learning Center.  She is responsible for all fundraising, public relations and marketing efforts on behalf of the organization.  She has been involved with nonprofit work for over 10 years.  She has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology/Child Development. She first moved to Jackson in1995 and joined The Learning Center in 2004.
